The Challenge

A global agricultural innovator, following the acquisition of another major biotechnology company, faced the challenge of integrating vast amounts of sales and marketing data from both organizations. Leadership needed to unify legacy data systems quickly while generating immediate business value from consolidated insights.


Without a clear, scalable analytics solution, the company risked delays in realizing synergies from the acquisition and missed opportunities to identify cross-sell and market expansion potential across regions.

 

Lifescale Analytics’ Solution

Lifescale Analytics partnered with the company to rapidly deliver a prototype “Cross-Sell” dashboard within just two months. The success of this prototype prompted expansion into a global suite of dashboards tailored for multiple regions, including Canada, the U.S., Brazil, Romania, and Spain. These dashboards provided sales opportunity planning, customer hierarchy reviews, and retail partner churn analysis, giving leadership the ability to drill down into performance at both the customer and product levels.


In parallel, Lifescale Analytics provided data integration expertise, working closely with corporate IT to consolidate legacy transactional data and streamline data pipelines. By leveraging technologies like Kafka and Spark, our team ensured that dashboards were fed with real-time transactions, enabling timely and accurate insights.
